Signature Pub Group is reviewing its estate, following the acquisition of the Speatus Group earlier this year.

The group closed the Boozy Cow site in Stirling city centre with immediate effect. It was one of four Boozy Cow sites Signature acquired as part of the seven-strong Speratus in a deal completed in February.

A Signature Pubs spokeswoman told the Daily Record: “After acquiring the Boozy Cow chain from Speratus Group in February, we are looking to focus our attention on our core estate while further developing additional projects that were in progression prior to the acquisition. We are respectively evaluating every Boozy Cow unit, including their current offering, and look forward to launching new menus and initiatives.”

Signature’s portfolio currently consists of 20 pubs, hotels and restaurants across Scotland.
