The Shilling Group, the Edinburgh-based independent pub and bar group, has secured its seventh site in Scotland and its first in the Scottish Borders.
The group, which is led by Michael McGuigan, has secured the Borders Hotel, an 18th Century coaching inn in the conservation village of Kirk Yetholm.
The company’s other sites include Thomson’s Bar, the Golden Rule and Bar Kohl in Edinburgh.
