Shepherd Neame is to launch a new initiative in March which will see them modernise their cask offer.
The Shepherd Neame Cask Club will see a new cask ale supplied to participating pubs on a monthly basis, which will incorporate modern styles and flavours through international collaboration with new partners, in addition to promoting its more traditional seasonal beers.
As part of the initiative, drinkers will be able to pick up a Cask Club passport at participating pubs, collecting a sticker each time they try a new ale.
In October Shepherd Neame announced a new and extended financing structure giving it access to £107.5m, which allows it to “take advantage of any opportunities that may arise over the next few years”.
The new structure comprises a new five-year revolving credit facility of £50m with Lloyds and Santander. This matures in 2023, replacing the existing facility of £45m, which was due to expire in 2020.
