Shepherd Neame, the Kent-based brewer and pub operator, is rolling out its British Tapas menu across its London estate, M&C has learnt.

The Rose & Crown in Blackfriars is the latest to offer the menu, with each dish at £4.50 or three for £12.

Shepherd Neame’s head development chef Simon Howlett said: “We have been gradually introducing this offer across a few of our managed sites during the past two years. At the moment we are mostly targeting London, wet-led pubs. The format is a British-influenced tapas, with many other world flavours.”

The menu includes pub classics such as scotch eggs alongside serrano ham “lollipops” (ham wrapped around breadsticks, Thai chilli fishcakes and spicy chicken breast goujons.
