Shepherd Neame has expanded its wine bar concept Todd’s with a redevelopment of a function room at Blackheath pub, The Crown.

The company has invested £35,000 in transforming the upstairs space into a Todd’s Wine Bar.

Shepherd Neame currently operates the concept at the Jamaica Wine House in Cornhill, serving products from the Kent-based brewer’s Todd’s Wine Company arm.

Retail operations manager Graeme Endacott said: “The pub is very successful, so we wanted to expand the area available for customers, while creating a separate space with its own unique identity. It will offer the finest wine from Todd’s the Wine Company, along with cocktails, spirits and premium beers and lagers, accompanied by bistro-style food. Customers will be able to choose from a selection of sharing boards and tapas-style dishes.”
