Serendipity Inns, the group set up by former Mitchells & Butlers operations director Richard Cox and ex JW Lees director of managed houses Kieran Rabbit, has secured its second site, MCA understands.
The group is taking on Enterprise leased pub the Elephant & Castle in Bamford, between Rochdale and Bury in Greater Manchester.
Serendipity opened its first site, the Duke of York in Romiley, Cheshire – also an Enterprise lease – in April.
The group said the Elephant & Castle, which is due to open at the end of the month, would be cask ale led with a food offer underpinned by pub classics.
Speaking to MCA earlier this year, Cox said the pub group would start with leasehold or tenancies to “start the ball rolling”.
