Ten pubs formerly operated by Seafood Pub Company have been brought to market after the business went into administration.

Christie & Co is marketing the portfolio upon instruction by joint administrators Ryan Grant and Kerry Bailey of BDO.

The inns and pubs are located across affluent areas of England’s North West and Yorkshire, and have had combined investment of £7m.

Business interruption caused by the coronavirus pandemic forced the business to close its doors, and administrators were appointed on 19 June.

Founded in 2010 by Joycelyn Neve, Seafood Pub Company grew to become an award-winning collection of traditional destination country inns and pubs.

Predominantly food-led, the sites were operated as seafood-focussed gastropubs.

There are also 62 luxury letting rooms across seven of the properties.

Offers are invited for the portfolio either as a whole, as distinct sub-groups or for individual assets, with significant interest expected.
