AWP machine supplier Sceptre has won a two-year deal to supply Daniel Thwaites. The deal, worth around £1.5m, will see Sceptre supply more than 450 machines to around 50% of Thwaites’ managed and tenanted estate. This follows a new contract, agreed in February 2011, to supply 200 machines to SA Brains in Cardiff. Sceptre is the second-largest operator of amusement machines in the UK, and the only national operator to offer-fully manned depots in all areas of the country. Commenting on the deals Ken Turner, Sceptre’s chief executive, said: “The new Thwaites deal underlines the close working relationship developed between our two companies over more than twelve years and we are delighted to be able to continue this association. “Coupled to our recent contract win for new business from Brains, I believe this demonstrates that Sceptre continues to offer the most innovative and customer-focused coin-op solutions available to pub operators across the UK.”
