Revere, the premium arm of Marston’s, has confirmed it will launch its third and largest Lost & Found bar in Knutsford on 29 September.
MCA revealed in June that the concept would be rolled out following the success of the debut site in Birmingham, starting with a site in Leeds, which opened last month.
Designed to evoke a ‘Victorian botanical hideaway’, the Lost & Found venues serve up modern British dishes in antique surroundings.
At 4,133 sq.ft, the Knutsford site will be the largest yet with a two-tiered 215-cover bar and restaurant, 88-cover terrace, 14-cover private dining room and a ‘secret bar’.
It is opening in a Grade II listed former town hall on Knutsford’s Princess Street, created by Natural History Museum designer Alfred Waterhouse.
Colin Sadler, managing director of Revere, said: “This building is at the heart of the Knutsford community, and we look forward to creating a beautiful space where old and new friends can enjoy great food and drink.”
Sadler said in July that 2016 was gearing to be a ‘transformational’ year for Revere, with the group launching its new ‘factory-style’ restaurant concept, The Foundry Project, in Edinburgh.
Revere’s other pubs include The Fire Station in London’s Waterloo and The Huntsman of Brockenhurst in the New Forest.
