Revere, the premium pubs arm of Marston’s, is to open the third iteration of its Foundry Project concept, in Manchester, MCA understands.

The Colin Sadler-led group is converting Marston’s Bluu Smithfield Market Buildings, on the corner of Thomas Street & High Street in the Northern Quarter for an opening at the end of next month.

The concept, which is based around sourdough pizzas, gourmet burgers and craft beer, already operates in Harrogate and Edinburgh.

It is one of two brands within the Revere stable, alongside Lost & Found, which will open its sixth site in the former Pointing Dog Clubhouse site in Sheffield next month.

The group is also set to add the Bellcote pub in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, to its unbranded estate for an opening in January.

The pub, an existing Marston’s site, is focus on meats from a Josper oven and wood-fired pizzas with a strong cocktail offer.

Revere currently operates 12 unbranded sites across the country, in Marston’s latest trading update chief executive Ralph Findlay stressed that the division was continuing to perform strongly despite destination estates being hit by the extreme weather this year.
