Punch Taverns will offer digital and social media advice for the first time at its latest roadshow tour as well as showcasing the latest craft beer and ciders and a wider range of spirits.

The 12th annual roadshow will visit 10 destinations nationwide from 17 September to 20 October. The events will feature more than 130 suppliers, as well as the chance to meet with key team members including new chief executive Duncan Garrood.

An exclusive voucher booklet, which Punch said had proved a huge hit since the launch of the roadshows in 2012, is returning and will offer savings worth over £1,500 per pub. Punch said that last year, the average pub saved £540 in value on the day deals and support.

The 2015 Punch roadshow kicks off on 17 September at Birmingham’s Motorcycle Museum, moving onto Donington Park on 22 September and City Pavilion (East London) on 24 September. The final roadshow of September will be at University of West England in Bristol on 29 September. In October the roadshow will continue to tour the country, visiting Leeds United FC on Elland Road (1 October), Ascot Racecourse (6 October), Durham’s Rainton Meadow Area (8 October), Highland Centre Edinburgh (13 October), Chester Racecourse (15 October) and finally Bolton’s Macron Stadium (20 October). All dates on the roadshow will run from 10am until 3pm.

Garrood said: “I am thoroughly looking forward to attending the 2015 Punch roadshows and meeting as many Partners as possible to listen and understand what works well for them and how we can further motivate and support them in building successful businesses that deliver the best possible experiences for our pub customers.

“The roadshow is a great opportunity for publicans to meet a multitude of suppliers in one location including local, regional and national brewers. Punch’s support teams are also on hand to discuss topics including how to develop staff effectively through training, successful marketing techniques and effective use of Punch’s Buying Club. There is also the chance to catch up with Partnership Development Managers or Regional Business Managers as well as network with other Punch Partners.”
