Punch Taverns is seeking to strengthen its food offer with the appointment of a Head of Food, M&C understands.
Operations director Paul Pavli told M&C the Food team had now been brought into his New Business Division.
He said: “I have made a few small changes to ways of working, linking them closer to new partners, along the same lines the New Business development mangers work.
“This role is for a Head of Food, to manage the team of Catering Development managers and to help me deliver the food strategy at Punch.”
In November, then executive chairman Stephen Billingham told M&C the company had abandoned its target of food sales making up 35% of its tenants’ revenue.
