Punch has confirmed to MCA that Neil Macgeorge has been made its permanent marketing director.

The former Allied Domecq and Orange UK director was appointed to the role on an interim basis in March.

The role of marketing is one of three new board positions created by chief executive Duncan Garrood in November.

A spokesman said: ”As part of our move to a more customer focused culture, Neil has now joined us on a permanent basis as marketing director. This is a great opportunity for Punch to benefit from Neil’s expertise and develop our brand, identity and culture to deliver the very best in pub hospitality.

Yesterday MCA reported that Jeni Fine had joined the pubco from All Star Lanes in the new role of head of digital and brands. She will report into Macgeorge.
