Here For You Hospitality, the Lancashire-based operator of the PoundPubs concept, has placed a package of 10 sites on the market, which is understood to be valued at between £3m and £3.5m.
Colliers International’s licensed & leisure and hotels team has been instructed to handle the sale of the portfolio, which comprises sites spread across the Midlands and North West, with one in the North East.
The Pound Pubs in the portfolio are based in Newark, Leek, Wavertree and Atherton with Georgia Browns establishments in Stoke, Wigan and Stockton.
The non-branded properties which complete the ten-strong portfolio include; The Red Lion in Brierley Hill, The Castle in Newark, and Whittles in Oldham.
Ian Walsh, Colliers International, said: “It is expected that the portfolio will attract interest from a number of nationwide operators although smaller regional pub companies and breweries may consider smaller local packages.”
The sites are available as a package or on an individual basis.
The “no frills” pub venture PoundPub, which offers pints for £1.50 and halves for £1, was launched by Here For You Hospitality owner Mike Wardell in 2014.
Last year, Wardell told MCA that the concept had signed a deal with ABInBev to provide “premium products at bargain prices”, which would pave the way for the company to launch a franchise offer.
