Portsmouth pubs are having a whale of a time thanks to American sailors who are drinking them dry.
Two warships anchored there on Wednesday and meant bars and pubs had to draft in emergency suppliers.
The sailors have downed more than £400,000 of alcohol since docking in the Solent.
Bar staff are delighted because the Americans tip a lot more than British punters.
