Playboy Enterprises is in talks with casino owner London Clubs International about running a club at LCI's premises at The Rendezvous in the capital's West End.
The Playboy Club at 45 Park Lane closed its doors in 1981, but The Rendezvous in nearby Old Park Lane has been identified as the venue for the entertainment group's new British outlet.
Playboy, founded by Hugh Hefner, has made opening a London club a priority this year, according to Scott Flanders, who took over as chief executive from Hefner's daughter Christie last year.
