Peach Pub Company, the multiple operator headed by Lee Cash and Hamish Stoddart, has appointed its new finance director, M&C Report has learnt.
Joe Garthwaite, whose previous roles include head of merchandising at Sainsbury’s, is to begin his new role in September. He will replace Andrew Percy, who earlier this year became finance director at Loungers, the Bristol-based cafe/bar group.
The company is set to open its 17th site at an art deco building in Edgbaston, Birmingham in September. Stoddart told M&C Report that he expects to add either one or two more sites this year.
Earlier this year Peach said it hoped to reach a turnover of £23m by the end of 2014.
Stoddart said at the time: “We’re looking for a director to head up our Oxfordshire based finance team who can help us grow, develop the team and deliver our next stage of expansion. We’ve already created a professional finance unit, which is as strong today as it’s ever been, and now we’re on the hunt for an exceptional individual to help round out the team and play a major role in hitting our expansion targets.”
