JD Wetherspoon will play host to what it claims to be the longest and biggest beer festival this October. JDW is importing three foreign beers for the festival, which will see some pubs offering up to 30 different beers. The Oktoberfest, which takes its name from the famous beer festival in Munich, will run in many of the 640 JDW pubs across the country from October 4 to 17. The imported beers will be: St gergen Brau Keller from Germany; Howard Schwartz Bier from the Czech Republic; and Budels Parel from Holland. Nathan Wall, operations manager for JDW said that this year's festival: "promises to be the biggest and best yet. This festival will give our customers the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of wonderful tasting beers, including some which are not normally available in this country."
