New World Trading Company has strengthened its head office team following its £50m buyout by Graphite, MCA understands.

Chris Hill, previously managing director of The Botanist operator, has stepped up the role of chief executive following the deal.

Marcus Green, who has been acquisitions manager at Living Ventures for the past three years, has transferred across with the company to take on the mantle of head of acquisitions.

NWTC has also taken on Tim McCormac, who was already working with the company as a consultant, as property director.
