The New World Trading Company, the pub group acquired by Graphite for £50m last month, is approaching its 10,00th live music booking.
Chief executive Chris Hill said it showed that live entertainment was at the heart of the company’s offer.
The milestone will be marked by a tour of the company’s venues across the UK, with duo Kick Back Sundays performing the company’s top 40 most loved and requested tracks. The tour will start at London’s Trading House on the 7 July and culminate at Manchester’s Oast House on 31 July, where the very first gig was played back in late 2011.
NWTC work alongside Genre Music Agency filling the daily UK gigs with local artists in each location.
Hill said “Live entertainment is at the very core of our offering, working with Genre Music means we are always delivering the very best of local talent in the area. Booking daily live gigs is one aspect which sets us apart from others in the industry – so celebrating 10,000 gigs booked is an incredible number for our company to celebrate”.
The 10,000th gig will be played by Kick Back Sundays live on The Oast House’s courtyard stage as part of a huge party the company will be throwing to celebrate.
