Noble Inns, the Scott Hunter and Maria Larsen-led, London-based multiple operator, is teaming up with ex-John Salt chef Neil Rankin to open new venture Smokehouse, in Islington this summer.
Noble, which currently operates the Princess of Shoreditch, the Lady Ottoline near Chancery Lane, and the Pig and Butcher in Islington, will open the new site on Canonbury Road next month.
Fish and meat will be smoked in-house and cooked on barbecues and a bespoke robata grill.
The menu will include dishes like peppered ox cheek, lobster frittata, a foie gras club sandwich, and rib racks and brisket straight from the smoker.
The site will also offer around 20 different craft beers and hand-pulled local ales.
