Nexum Leisure, the late night bar operator, has announced the appointment of Clive Preston, chairman of Amber Taverns, as its new non-executive chairman.
Preston will succeed Bill Gore, the current non-executive chairman of Nexum on 1 September, after the company carried out a long expected management change.
Paul Kinsey, chief executive of Nexum, which operates the Zanzibar and Escapade bar brands, said: “As a turnaround specialist, Bill has contributed greatly to creating a stable and growing company and we wish him every success for the future. I’ve known Clive Preston for many years and I am confident that he will bring significant value to the company now and in the future”.
