The Stable, the Bristol-based craft cider and pizza restaurant business in which Fuller’s owns a 51% stake, has given more details of its latest opening in Falmouth.
The new venue, the seventh for the group, which opens on 28 August, is located in an old custom house overlooking Falmouth’s harbour.
“It’s a beautiful old building with great history and significance in the area” said Richard Cooper, The Stable co-founder.
“All of our restaurants are in unique buildings with real character and this one is no different. We’re really excited to be opening in such a special venue in Falmouth.”
The food offer is stone baked sourdough pizzas served on breadboards with cutters. Eighty different types of West Country cider are on offer.
Fuller’s announced in June that it had acquired a 51% stake in The Stable for £7.3m. Chief executive Simon Emeny told M&C Report that he saw “considerable potential” to expand the concept in southern England.
