CD Pub Co, the Warwickshire-based pub company founded by two senior figures from the property industry, has secured its third pub with the acquisition of the Lygon Arms in Feckenham from Enterprise Inns for an undisclosed sum.

The pub is to reopen in August under a new name, the Forest at Feckenham.

Charles Harris, operations director, said: “We’ve been looking for the right venue to complement our other two pubs for over a year now and the opportunity to introduce our hallmark Anglo French cuisine to Feckenham and Worcestershire, was just too good to miss.

“We are investing in a full scale stylish refurbishment of the pub, both inside and out, and the essence of the interior design will be to bring out its connections to the historical heritage of the former Royal Forest of Feckenham, but with a contemporary twist.

CD, which is led by David Mills and Christine Harris, currently operates two pubs: the Stag at Offchurch, held on a private lease, and the Moorings at Myton in Leamington Spa, a Charles Wells leasehold. It also operates a café-style restaurant concept called Flat Chicken in Stratford-upon-Avon.
