Caroline Morris has left her role as operations director for BrewDog’s bar division after only a few months, M&C Report has learnt.

Morris, a former senior executive at Mitchells & Butlers (M&B), was only appointed to the role in October.

Before joining BrewDog, Morris was M&B’s new concept development manager, working on formats such as Tuk Cho, the Thai restaurant concept. Prior to that she was senior marketing manager at M&B’s Castle estate.

Asked by M&C Report in January about what impact Morris has had on the business, BrewDog co-founder James Watt said: “She has been great; I think what we had up until that point was a very passionate young but also quite inexperienced team so having someone who shares a passion but just has a lot more experience of running multiple sites helps us evolve as a business, which has been key for us.”
