Star Pubs & Bars, the Heineken-owned leased pub operator, has announced changes to its management team, with trading director Chris Moore taking the new role of property and strategy director.
His position has been taken by Chris Jowsey, currently commercial director, on trade, Heineken, who will now head up the Stars Pubs & Bars management team.
In his new role, Moore will also be responsible for all property interests across Heineken UK. “In addition he will lead the strategic development of the business and continue to represent Heineken UK on external industry forums,” the company said.
“As the UK’s leading beer and cider producer and a passionate supporter of the great British pub, this is the next stage in the journey Heineken’s pub business to become the most successful and sustainable leased pub business in the UK.”
The changes take effect on 25 February.
