Charlie McVeigh, the pub and bar operator, is planning to expand his Draft House concept to three sites in London. McVeigh, who launched his first pub under the brand on Northcote Road in Clapham in November, will reopen his existing Battersea pub as the Westbridge Draft House at the beginning of February. The venue will focus on offering a diverse range of British and international beers and food to match the drinks. The former owner of the Bush Bar & Grill, Woody’s nightclub and the Grand Union pub in London, is understood to be looking at several sites in Clapham for the next Draft House, with plans to launch the third outlet later in 2010.
