McMullen’s, the Hertford-based independent brewer and pub operator, has opened the fifth outlet under its Baroosh brand. The B bar & kitchen in Windsor, Berkshire joins other sites in Hertford, Cambridge, Uxbridge and Staines to trade under the Baroosh brand, which was launched by McCullen’s six years ago. The company invested £250,000 into the new bar, which was previously occupied by SFI and traded under it Slug & Lettuce brand. The company has also announced two new appointments, with Duncan Zvonek-Little and Keith Nunns, joining McMullen’s from Lewis & Clarke, the London bar operator, as area manager and manager of the new site, respectively. McMullen’s, which operates almost 140 pubs, opened its new £1m brewery in April.
