David Singleton, who spent 28 years at Mitchells & Butlers (M&B), has joined Rosinter Restaurants, Russia’s largest casual restaurant chain, as its new brand director.

Singleton spent over 28 years at M&B before leaving earlier this year. He left the company after spending a number of years as managing partner, marketing for M&B’s Premium Country Dining Group estate.

He has been hired to initially revitalise the group’s 160-strong Il Patio estate and to also work on the revitalisation of its 160-strong Planet Sushi concept.

He joins former M&B business development director Kevin Todd at Rosinter, which currently operates 382 restaurants in total across 10 countries, including the Czech Republic and Poland.

Todd took up the role of chief executive of the company, which has a joint venture with Whitbread to develop Costa Coffee in Moscow and operates the franchise of TGI Friday’s, earlier this year.

Its other brand is 1-2-3 Cafe, the contemporary Russian food concept.
