Luminar, the nightclub operator bought out of administration by a group led by industry veteran Peter Marks in December, has appointed two regional directors from within the company as part of a restructure of its operations. Martin Winter, formerly Luminar’s head of central operations, has taken the role of regional director for the east and Scotland. Mark Molton, previous general manager at Luminar’s multi-complex Milton Keynes site, takes the same role for the Midlands division. Marks said: “Martin and Mark have vast knowledge of the late night industry and I’m delighted they have accepted these new positions. “They will join the existing regional director team of Tony Gorbert, Ged Gorrie and Trevor Ellard, a team with a combined experience of over 100 years in nightclubs. Each regional director will be responsible for a tightly defined geographical area that will allow for focused attention to deliver operational excellent.” Marks, formerly chief executive at Brook leisure and Sports Café, completed the acquisition of Luminar out of administration in deal worth around £45m.
