Ben Levick, the former director of operations at TCG, who earlier this year became the managing director of The Apartment Group, the North East-based hospitality group, has joined Stonegate Pub Company as an operations director.

Levick left TCG earlier this March, six months after the company had been acquired by Stonegate. He spent over 11 years with the managed pub and bar group.

Earlier this month, Kevin Allcock, national operations director for Yates and new concepts at Stonegate, left the company to join Goals Soccer Centres as its new operations director.

In July, Stonegate said that TCG, which it acquired for c£100m last year, had been successfully integrated into its enlarged business.

Levick joined the 11-strong Apartment Group, which is owned by Duncan Fisher, as it looked to continue to expand in its North East heartland and further afield.

The Apartment Group’s sites include the Georgian boutique hotel and wedding venue Newton Hall and the Joiners Arms inn, both in Newton-by-the-Sea, Northumberland; Nancy’s Bordello bar and restaurant in Newcastle; and Liberty Brown pizza restaurant in Sunderland.
