Leelex, the Leeds-based bar and restaurant operator, has been placed into administration, MCA has learnt.
KPMG is understood to have been appointed administrators of the Ged Feltham-led group, which currently operates five sites - Cielo Blanco, Jake’s Bar & Still Room, Oporto and Neon Cactus – all based in Leeds, and The Distillery in London’s Portobello Road.
Earlier this spring, the company closed the only London branch of Cielo Blanco in Exmouth Market, leaving one site in Leeds remaining for the brand.
The company had previously spoken about rolling out the Cielo Blanco concept, with an opening in Manchester mooted.
It is thought that all five sites affected by the administration continue to trade.
