The Kro group, the Danish-influenced bar and restaurant operator, is to undergo a restructuring in the form of a Company Voluntary Agreement (CVA), which it is hoped will put the business on a firmer footing going forward.

The Manchester-based group, which at one time operated six sites in the North West, is believed to have secured agreement from its creditors, including Daniel Thwaites to undergo the CVA.

The business, which is led by Mark Ruby, operates sites in Manchester’s Piccadilly area and Oxford Road, and in Heaton Moor.

It also operates a catering arm.
