Michelin-starred chef Tom Kitchin is to open his third site a new gastro pub in Edinburgh, which M&C Report understands will go under the title The Scran & Scallie.
Kitchin, who already runs award-winning restaurant The Kitchin at The Shore in Leith and the Castle Terrace in the Scottish capital, is teaming up with fellow Michelin-starred chef Dominic Jack to take over the former San Marco Restaurant site in Mary’s Place in the city’s Stockbridge area.
The venture is set to open this spring and will be “family friendly” and “very foodie” concentrating on fresh Scottish scran and local produce.
