Kames Capital, the UK-based investment management business, has acquired a portfolio of eight prime public house, restaurant and retail investment properties, located in the Home Counties, for an undisclosed sum, MCA has learnt.

It is understood that the properties include a Brunning & Price site, an Ivy Collection site and a Slug & Lettuce.

Coffer Corporate Leisure is understood to have acted on behalf of the vendor, a private client.

Last year, Kames Capital acquired a pub portfolio including sites let to Punch and Greene King for £9.5m.

It acquired the portfolio from investment firm Aprirose, with the deal price reflecting an initial yield of 4.8%

The transaction included four pubs, the Refectory in Godalming, Rye House in Hoddersdon, Black Prince in West Byfleet, and The Ship in Wilmslow, with one let to Punch and the remainder to Greene King.
