JD Wetherspoon has announced it will open 12 pubs – three of which will have hotels – between now and September.
The group is opening two new pubs – The Hay Stook in East Kilbride and The Posset Cup in Portishead – today
It also started work yesterday on a pub and 12 bedroom hotel in Northolt and a pub in Chatham.
A spokesman for the company said a further four pubs and two hotels – in Largs, Wellington, Okehampton and Huntingdon - go on site next Monday.
The Okehampton pub will feature a 20 bedroom hotel and the Huntingdon pub a 22 bedroom hotel.
Each of the six pubs and three hotels will open between late June and mid-September 2016.
Wetherspoon’s will also be opening new pubs in Beverley, Newton-le-Willows, Edinburgh and Formby between April and June.
