JD Wetherspoon, the managed operator, is to reduce the duration of its annual January Sale promotion by one week when it returns next month.
Sale prices under the promotion will differ but typical offers include pints such as Carlsberg for £1.99 and filter coffee for 79p a cup.
The promotion will last from Thursday 2 January to Thursday 23 January – in 2013 it ran until the final day of the month, although in the previous year it ended on 11 January.
In addition, five meals will be available for £2.99 each – last year four dishes were offered for that price.
The five meals are: pasta pomodoro; ham, egg and chips; chicken breast wrap; soup with bloomer bread; and jacket potato.
