Intertain has completed the latest refurbishment of its Walkabout bar chain with a £250K investment at its venue in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent.
The design follows the refurbishment template of the flagship Walkabout in Temple, London, with a wave design across the bar area, a larger dance floor, and private booths.
Intertain is currently in the process of refurbishing between 15 and 20 Walkabouts at a cost of £7m to £9m.
John Leslie, chief executive of Intertain, said: “The refurbishment of the Hanley venue helps create an environment that welcomes our customers and ensures that they have a fantastic experience whatever their reason for visiting.”
Earlier this month M&C Report reported that Intertain has compiled a list of target towns and cities for new acquisitions.
