Hop Stuff Brewery is to open its third taproom, and its first outside London, in Ashford, Kent.
The group has taken on the Vinnie’s Bar & Club site on the town’s Bank Street.
The group, led by James Yeomans, currently operates its pizza and beer offer at a taproom at its Woolwich brewery and has another coming on line in Deptford Market Yard.
Last year the group successfully crowdfunded a £750,000 equity investment into its taproom expansion.
Yeomans has said he is considering a convertible loan to fund the group’s next growth phase, with a “significant investor” interested in taking part. He has also suggested current crowdfunding investors could come on-board as “convertible crowdfunding pioneers”.
