Kirk Davis, currently chief financial officer of Greene King, is to join The Restaurant Group (TRG) in the same role.

Davis has been with Greene King since the beginning of 2015, after joining from JD Wetherspoon.

He will be replaced by Richard Smothers, ex-CFO of Mothercare, at the end of January 2018.
