Gorgeous Group, the Robbie Bargh-led hospitality consultancy, is launching a new rooftop bar, Savage Garden, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London – Tower of London.
Taking over the former Sky Lounge site on the 12th floor, the new 8870 sq ft, 400 capacity lounge will include a bar, cocktail lounge, dining areas and private hire spaces as well as two large outdoor terraces overlooking the City.
Premium cocktails will be adapted and theatrically served, while the food takes traditional comfort dishes and feasting plates with a “dark twist”.
The interior is described as an “exploration of the brutal and experimental”, with reflective, scored and torn surfaces, a graffiti mural, soft velvet furnishings and marble floors.
Bargh, who worked on the creation of the Dishoom concept, said: “Savage Garden is breaking away from the botanical trend to provide a moodier, more alternative vibe to rooftop drinking and dining. It’s bringing something a bit different to London’s bar scene.”
