Bar Cini in Glasgow has issued its door staff with metal detectors in an effort to regain its licence, which was revoked after a spate of violence at the venue. The site has also limited its entry age to 21, banned football colours and installed CCTV cameras. Bar Cini, which is owned by JB Recreation, lost its licence after Glasgow police told a licensing board hearing that it had been linked to four violent incidents in nine months, including a stabbing near the premises.
