Heavitree Brewery, the Devon-based brewer and pub operator, has announced that director and company secretary Rodney Glanville is to retire next week. Glanville, who will step down on 19 June, initially worked for the company from 1966-1973 then rejoined in 1981 working in the accounts office and reaching the position of group accountant. He was appointed to the board in 2003 and became company secretary four years later. Heavitree said it did not propose to appoint another director to replace him. It has appointed Nicola McLean as Glanville’s replacement as company secretary effective from 19 June.
