Greene King pubs have helped raise more than £71,000 for Prostate Cancer UK since this year’s Rugby World Cup.

Pubs under Spirit’s Taylor Walker, Flaming Grill and Chef & Brewer brands partnered with Prostate Cancer UK this Autumn to help support the charity’s Men United movement.

As well as individual pub fundraising events, a select number of pubs were fully transformed into Men United Arms. The pubs were rebranded for a few days using Prostate Cancer UK branded signs, bunting, beer mats, drip trays and team uniforms.

James Beeby, director of fundraising at Prostate Cancer UK, said: “We are so pleased that so many pubs have come on board to do something for Prostate Cancer UK, whether it’s transforming into the Men United Arms or selling pin badges.

“By doing this they have joined Men United, and are helping to make a real difference in furthering the fight against the disease. Every single person who has given a penny, a pound or whatever they have contributed has helped to make a difference, so thank you.”
