Greene King has confirmed it is to expand its partnership with Barrel & Stone, with the latter to supply branded pizzas to a further 12 sites across its Pub Partners estate..
There are currently four Greene King Pub Partners sites linked up with Barrel & Stone.
As part of the arrangement, Barrel & Stone provides all necessary kitchen equipment for pubs including a stone baked pizza oven.
Greene King licensees and their staff also benefit from training from local Barrel & Stone representatives, social media campaigns and support, point of sale merchandise, an online ordering portal and a rotating menu.
Among the first to experience the benefits of the tie-up was Local Hero pub the Rose and Crown in Tewin, Hertfordshire, which was equipped and ready to go within a fortnight of committing to the package and have already sold more than 3,000 pizzas in around six months.
