Eight pubs from former pub owner Farlane Property Group are set to go under the hammer at an Allsop auction next month, writes Gurjit Degun. Four of the freehold pubs are let on a temporary management agreement, and three others have longer leases. Farlane Property Group fell into administration in 2010 and had 43 pubs at the time. PriceWaterhouse Coopers was appointed joint administrators. The auction will take place at the Park Lane Hotel in London on 19 March. The pubs on offer are: - The Albion in Plymouth, Devon. The property is let until 2031, with rent of £21,000. Guide price - £150,000 to £170,000. Initial yield – 14%. - The Black Diamond in Ince, Lancashire. The pub is let temporarily. Rent - £5,200. Guide price - £70,000 to £80,000. Initial yield – 7.43%. - Lord Napier in Rock Ferry, Wirral. It is let until 2028. Rent - £20,000. Guide price - £100,000 to £120,000. Initial yield – 20%. - Red Lion Inn in Clwyd, Wrexham. It is let temporarily. Rent - £5,200. Guide price £70,000 to £80,000. Initial yield – 7.43%. - The Red Hackle in Jarrow, Tyne & Wear. The property is let until 2020. Rent - £26,000. Guide price - £175,000 to £185,000. Initial yield – 14.86%. - Lamb & Lion Inn in Hambridge, Somerset. Guide price - £150,000 to £160,000. - White Hart in Chudleigh, Devon. It is let temporarily. Rent - £2,600. Guide price - £90,0000 to £100,000.
