The lease of the former Bar Sport site in Braintree, Essex, has been put on the market.
The venue closed and the franchise agreement was terminated less than nine months after it was launched in October last year.
Bar Sport founder Scott Murray confirmed to M&C that the lease now had no connection to the brand.
He said the franchisees had been struck by “a terrible run of luck from the moment they opened the door”.
The venue was closed by police for a period after a brawl that started in the venue on its opening weekend. It suffered another blow when a fire at a nearby venue caused the road to be shut off, essentially disconnecting the bar from the town.
The site on Braintree High Street is being marketed by Davis Coffer Lyons.
