The Five Points Brewing Company has reported strong growth with sales up “significantly” in Q1 2024.

The independent brewery based in Hackney, London, was founded in 2013, and currently operates a brewery taproom and pub, The Pembury Tavern.

Revenue for the period January to March 2024 increased by 18.5% - from £894,265 in 2023 to £1m in 2024. At The Brewery (including Taproom & Courtyard), total sales increased by 17.5%, while The Pembury Tavern saw sales increase by 21%.

The business has agreed terms on a new London pub to open this summer as its latest crowdfund draws to a close.

Five Points looked to raise £350,000 as it gears up “for significant expansion”, and has since achieved 109% of its initial target from 567 investors.

Plans for the investment include scaling up brewing operations and introducing more Five Points pubs across London.

Highlights in 2024 include agreeing an extension of the existing Brewery & Taproom lease to 2030, as well as an extension to the business’ Nando’s restaurants contract, to supply its XPA until May 2025.

It has also secured a listing for Five Points Best in 500ml bottles with M&S, in 100 M&S Food stores across the Greater London area, from 1st May 2024.

Meanwhile, the business relaunched its outdoor Five Points Courtyard venue on Easter Bank Holiday weekend.
