KuPP, the Scandinavian-inspired bar from Faucet Inn, is in negotiations with landlords to open up to another two sites this year in London before branching out, M&C Report has learnt.

The group launched the first KuPP last month in Paddington as an all-day casual dining offering that serves speciality coffee and craft beers.

A spokesperson for Faucet Inn said: “We are in our proof of concept stage and are focused mainly on London sites. However, the concept is intended to be universally attractive and we are looking ahead to sites in regional cities and large towns in the UK.”

They added Faucet is constantly evaluating new sites and is in advanced negotations to open a second and potentially third KuPP in 2015.

“KuPP is Scandinavian influenced and we believe that the KuPP concept will be also attractive in the Nordic/Scandinavian region. A KuPP site in at least one of those countries is certainly on the near term horizon. In the future, we believe the KuPP concept would also be attractive in other European and potentially Middle Eastern markets.

Last year Faucet launched Neighbourhood as a drinks-led concept with roll-out potential and is also currently in the embryonic stage of development and are intended to grow concurrently with Neighbourhood having a more adult feel than all-day casual KuPP.

“KuPP is more diverse in its offering and chameleon across a day with a dedicated specialty coffee café, a great bar and restaurant that is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.”
