Experimental Cocktail Club (ECC), the international bar group, is believed to have secured a site in Covent Garden for a new wine bar and restaurant concept, M&C Report understands.

The company, which opened its first site in London in Chinatown in 2010, is understood to have secured the unit at 8-10 Neal’s Yard for an opening later this year.

French trio Pierre-Charles Cros, Romee De Goriainoff and Olivier Bon opened the first ECC in Paris and have since expanded, launching cocktail bars in London, New York and Ibiza.

The group opened it latest bar in the Condesa neighborhood of Mexico City earlier this year.

It has plans to open a raw bar and fresh seafood restaurant in Paris later this year.

The company also operates further sites - the Curio Parlor, Prescription Cocktail, Companie des Vins Surnaturels, its first wine bar, and The Beef Club & Ballroom – in the French capital.

It is thought that Davis Coffer Lyons acted on the Neal’s Yard site.
